In an effort to regionalize local public health services in the lower Connecticut River Valley the Connecticut River Area Health District was formed in 2006. The CRAHD member Towns include Old Saybrook, Clinton, Deep River, Haddam, Chester, Killingworth & Durham. CRAHD serves its population of over 54,000 year- round residents, as well as a seasonal swell in population of our shoreline towns during the summer months. We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of our residents and being a source of information for health-related concerns.
